I just got back from the gym and I’m sitting here lunching on some cottage cheese with little diced pears, peachs, and pineapple. Now while most people can agree that the diced mixed fruit assortment is delicious, a lot people beefs with the cottage cheese.

Ever since day one when I started reppin’ the CC, people have been throwing snide comments or disgusted looks my way. I don’t get it. I suppose it’s just a matter of taste, but here’s several good reasons why you shouldn’t dismiss this delicious snack so easily.
1) It’s got a hell of a lot of protein (hence it’s title as my Post-Work-Out-Snack)
2) It’s light and refreshing and as implied above is an excellent compliment to sweet fruit
3) It doesn’t mind when you eat it one day and forget to call it the next
4) It can be made with different types of milk varying it’s fat content
5) C’mon! Who doesn’t like cheese?
Now if those reasons aren’t enough to convince you… then you’re missing out.
Stop sleeping on cottage cheese, people. Give it a try!
